Stolen Wages Settlement

Update 10, 26 June 2020

Welcome to our tenth Stolen Wages Settlement email update to claimants (workers under the Stolen Wages practices) and registered representatives (for deceased claimants).

Townsville and Brisbane offices

As the state continues to open up from the Coronavirus restrictions we are once again visiting communities when we are able to and when it is safe to do so. This week and next we have a temporary office in Townsville and from 8 July 2020 our office in Brisbane will re-open each Wednesday. Please check the website for locations and how to make an appointment to meet with our staff.

Checking claim details

The Stolen Wages Information Centre will be conducting random checks of claims to ensure that claimants are eligible under the Stolen Wages Settlement Scheme. This is to ensure that the right people are receiving payments under the scheme.

We may contact you to request clarification of details or to provide additional information to verify your claim.
